PAINTING AND DECORATING WORKS

Description

This programme is intended to produce competent craftsmen with sound theoretical knowledge and adequate practical skills which will enable the student work effectively with paints.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, the students are able to;

·         Select, use and maintain the tools and equipment relating to the trades.

·         Prepare surface and paint to specifications.

·         Apply oil, water synthetic and cellulose based paints effectively.

·         Carry out spray work on various surfaces.

·         Design color scheme for building.

·         Create designs and produce Art Works.

·         Demonstrate knowledge in Glass glazing and wall hanging.
