This programme is
intended to produce skilled craftsmen who will be capable of knowing and
handling the practical and the theoretical aspects of industrial
instrumentation that will sufficiently grant them employment in any Automated
Industry.
The Instrument Mechanic Works
program is a specialized technical training that equips students with the
skills to work with instruments used in measuring, monitoring, and controlling
industrial processes.
Students will be introduced to:
·
Principles of
instrumentation and control
·
Working with
sensors, transmitters, and controllers
·
Calibration of
pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments
·
Wiring and
installation of control panels
·
Troubleshooting
of industrial automation systems
·
Use of testing
tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calibrators
The course emphasizes safety standards,
accuracy, and technical precision. Learners will engage in hands-on projects
and simulated industrial environments to understand how instrumentation plays a
critical role in sectors like oil & gas, manufacturing, water treatment,
and power plants.
Graduates of this program will be
well-prepared for employment as instrument technicians, control panel
assemblers, or technical maintenance officers.
