BLOCKLAYING/BRICKLAYING AND CONCRETING

The objective of this course are to train energetic boys and girls in the Block/ Bricklaying, Mansory. Concreting, basic surveying/ leveling and Sewage Disposal to meet the vast need of craftsmen and technicians in the building industry.

OBJECTIVES

At the completion of the course, the students are able to:

·          Select, use and maintain all relevant tools and machineries used in the trade.

·         Construct different types of walls

·         Face walls and exterior parts of the building in bricks, stones, marbles etc.

·         Carry out other related jobs in building such as tilling, wall plastering, flooring, footings, damp-proofing, arches painting, scaffolding, drainage and septic tank construction, basic survey work and leveling, setting out, trade quantities etc.
