PLUMBING AND PIPE-FITTINGS

Description

This programme is intended to produce competent craftsmen with sound theoretical knowledge and practical skills which will enable the student to install, maintain and repair plumbing and sanitation engineering works.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, the students are able to;

·         Identify various tools and their uses in relation to the plumbing trades.

·         Carry out bending, screwing and joining of pipes.

·         Install pipe work to heating systems.

·         Construct and fix pipe work to drainage system for both domestics and industrial.
